How To Test A New Business Idea (Video)

I want to talk to you today about one of the most commonly asked questions I hear from new clients “How To Test A New Business Idea”

The truth is one of the best ways to test your new business idea is to get feedback! I’ve spent a number of years across my career helping businesses validate their ideas and researching what their customers really want – and there’s nearly always a surprise in there, compared to what they assumed their customers wanted!

So getting real responses from real people can be critical in finding the right way to make your product or service a hit with your target audience. It might even generate ideas you hadn’t even thought of yet!

You might want feedback on something you already do or you might want to know if that new idea is worth the effort it’s going to take to bring to life.

It could be that you need feedback on a brand new business or perhaps it’s a new product or service you want to introduce into your existing business, but either way getting feedback is one of the best ways to test your new business idea to ensure that it appeals to your customer and that it’s an offer they are looking for.

So who should you be asking for feedback? Ideally you should be looking to get feedback from your potential customers!

There is very little to be gained in asking for feedback from people who aren’t in your ideal customer niche.

So one of the first things you need to get clear on is who is your product or service for, who is it you would love to be working with?

Once you know that you need to find them and ask them for feedback on your business idea to make sure you are on the right track

This video will help you decide who you need to speak to (spoiler alert – it’s not your friends!) and what you need to ask them.

This really is how to test a new business idea to ensure you get the best results when your business, product or service launches! Running your own business is stressful enough – take some of the guesswork out of it! Have you tested out your business idea on your ideal client? If not why not?
